Upgrade from standard Pin-Pipe Safeties to REP’s Strap Safeties 2.0. These reinforced nylon straps are much gentler on your barbell than metal, but they’re just as tough with a weight capacity of 1,000lbs (5000 Series). Heavy-duty bolts secure the straps to the brackets. Quickly slide them into the uprights of your power rack like a J-cup and flip them into place. The patent-pending design secures brackets in place and prevents them from rotating when being pushed laterally. They are also uniquely adjustable, as the front and back ends can be mounted at different heights.

This is the best squat safety strap I’ve ever used so far. In terms of coating, design, steel thickness, nylon strap width and thickness, and overall tolerances, it is better than any safety straps I’ve used before. It fits perfectly with a 3×3-inch power rack.
The new design also makes barbell deadlifts on the rack very quiet (so it doesn’t disturb neighbors). Although there a one dent , overall it’s an excellent product.

I got the safety arms first, because I thought the straps would be hard to set up, not knowing how much they'd give. But these are very sturdy, and I don't have any trouble with setup. I like that I can put the front and back at different heights. I also like putting them at the lowest hole on my rack for deadlifts. They're very soft on the bar, even though they are so strong. Highly recommend!
