Bar is very heavy duty. Knurling is great. Would say it is medium. Wife thinks it’s too much. Great addition to have for back workouts.
It’s not to heavy. But, wish they made it in aluminum. Which in a Pro Series Lat Bar I have never seen one.

I've been looking for this bar for a while and I finally hit the lottery!! Love it, love it, love it. The grip is extremely comfortable and not wide with that bulky soft cushion like the semi circular pulldown/ lat bar. The design of this bar won't cause much injury as an earlier review hinted. All you do is get a slight backward lean and pull/squeeze to focus on the back muscles. This bat is of very good quality and super sturdy. I highly recommend this bar... Seriously and it's worth every darn penny🫡.
