Jumping on and off it was solid. Even did Belt squats off it off my functional trainer dual arms loaded at bottom. No complaints. Recommend this versus anything cheaper that could fall apart. I checked it against some others on Amazon etc and what do save? like $10-20? Do you really want to risk getting hurt if that cheapo box breaks, slips, squeaks or wobbles under serious weight? I wouldn't. These are a great value and no compromises. Peace of mind is worth it.

It came flat, and the holes and tabs are not completely precise, but it went together without much hassle and for the price, I was very satisfied.
